CWB in Colombia

From Nov. 19 to Nov. 27 of 2009, some clowns coming from the U.S.A, Chile, and Colombia performed for vulnerable children in Bogota and Girardot, Colombia.

I had the opportunity to shadow this mission with my camera.

When we hear about clowns, we spontaneously think about red nose, big shoes, and laughing children.

However, I was amazed by another dimension of clowning.

Indeed, in addition to the (geographical) borders crossed by some of the clowns to join the project, other (social) borders were cleared during these days.

For a little while, the lines usually separating performers and audience, adults and children, boys and girls, those who have and those who have not, the ones who are used to laugh and the ones who are used to be laughed at were less obvious...
